1. Introduction

Kase Industries LLC (“Kase Industries,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates Kase Agent, a managed AI agent platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website at kaseagent.com and the Kase Agent service.

This policy is designed to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and applicable privacy laws. If you are a California resident, please see Section 8 for information about your specific rights.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account and Contact Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and business information you provide during onboarding. This includes the description of your business, your workflow preferences, and the tools you use.

Conversation History

We store the conversations you have with your AI agent, including messages you send and responses generated by the agent. This data is used to operate the Service and may be used to improve your agent’s configuration. Conversation data is never used to train AI models.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or CVV. We receive and store a tokenized reference to your payment method and billing details such as name, address, and last four digits of your card.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, API call volume, and session duration. This data is used to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

Third-Party Tool Data

When you authorize integrations (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.), we access the data in those services solely to perform the tasks you request through your agent. We do not access tool data beyond what is needed to fulfill specific user-initiated requests.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account and provide the Service
  • To configure and operate your AI agent according to your specifications
  • To process payments and send billing communications
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
  • To send service-related communications (account updates, billing notices, feature announcements)
  • To monitor and maintain the security and performance of the Service
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising targeting, behavioral profiling for marketing purposes, or sale to third parties.

4. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We share data with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to perform services on our behalf. Our current sub-processors are:

  • Supabase — database storage and authentication. Data is stored in the United States.
  • Stripe — payment processing and billing management.
  • Anthropic — AI processing. Your messages are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use API data to train models under their enterprise usage policies.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (account notifications, billing emails).
  • Brave Search API — web search capability for your agent. Search queries you initiate are sent to Brave to retrieve results.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or respond to an emergency.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a period thereafter as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Conversation data is retained for 12 months following account cancellation and is then permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting privacy@kaseagent.com. Billing records are retained for 7 years in accordance with applicable tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.

6. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Measures include:

  • Data encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption in Supabase
  • Data encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3
  • Access controls limiting data access to personnel who need it to perform their duties
  • Regular security reviews of our systems and third-party providers

No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses essential cookies required for basic functionality such as maintaining your logged-in session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking technologies. If we introduce analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for which it was collected, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the categories of third parties with whom we share it, and the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as information required to complete transactions, detect security incidents, or comply with legal obligations).

Right to Opt-Out of Sale

We do not sell personal information. You do not need to opt out of a sale because we do not engage in the sale of personal data.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, submit a verifiable request to privacy@kaseagent.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, contact us at privacy@kaseagent.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
